01 / Understand
Gradually clarify.
In the journey presented by STUDIO, the ESQ explores a response to the program. The APS and APD phases deepen the choices. The PRO develops the project definition and the DCE gathers the documents intended to consult the companies according to the mission.
These acronyms are not enough to define a service. Ask for the list of deliverables, their level of detail, the planned exchanges and the studies carried out by other stakeholders. Two missions with the same name can have different scopes.
02 / Understand
The permit answers an administrative question.
A permit application presents in particular the location and appearance of the project through the adapted parts. The nature of the operation and its location determine the steps to be verified. Public Service details the cases and the composition of the file.
The need to use an architect depends on your situation, in particular the applicant and the surfaces. Avoid inferring an exemption from a single figure seen in an ad.

A good version, to the right person.
Number and date the documents. A modified plan must be distinguishable from its previous version. A decision on a bay can concern the facade, the structure, the solar protection and the interior.
Before a consultation or manufacturing, ask which version refers and what validations are still necessary. The 3D model helps to understand space; it does not replace the technical parts expected by professionals.
Put into practice
An exercise for your project.
Classify these three needs: choose the location, submit the authorization, consult the companies. For each, ask what document is planned, by whom it is produced and at what stage.
Things to rememberDesigning, authorizing and preparing for execution are different objectives, which must remain consistent.
