Read functions.
In a light steel frame, the profiles, panels and connections provide load-bearing or stability functions depending on the system. The openings and supports require studied arrangements. The visible repetition of the amounts is not enough to understand all the efforts.
Observe the educational exploded S1GULARIS to distinguish the families of elements. The proportions and details of a visual demonstration are simplified; they should not be used to manufacture or dimension.

Think about the whole house.
A house also includes insulation, membranes, siding and joinery. Their junctions count for comfort and durability. A structural drawing therefore does not demonstrate the performance of the envelope.
To read a proposal, ask for a description of the walls and interfaces. Have it explained how network passages and modifications will be coordinated, without improvising a cut or drilling on the structure.

Replace promises with documents.
“Fast”, “efficient” or “economical” are intentions as long as their scope is not defined. Ask what they relate to: assembly time, overall deadline, calculated consumption or price of a service.
Environmental regulations address several dimensions of the building. A material does not mean automatic conformity. The justifications must correspond to your operation and the system actually implemented.
